FAQ
1. How often should I service my garden tractor or zero turn lawnmower?
All mowers should have annual service including a tuneup on the engine and blade sharpen.
2. How often should the hydro transmission be serviced on my zero turn mower?
The hydro transmission should be changed per the manufactures recommendations. Hydro Gear recommends initial 75hrs and then every 300 hrs.
3. Do all hydro transmissions need to be changed?
No it depends on if you have a serviceable transmission on the lawnmower. Some lawnmowers and zero turns have a single pump fully enclosed non serviceable transmission. If it is a dual pump transmission then it will need to be serviced. Follow manufactures recommendations.
4. What is the best way to winterize my zero turn lawnmower or tractor?
We recommend for an engine with a carburator, after the last use for the season, run the engine dry. Then in the spring add gas and start. For an EFI engine no need to run dry.
5. Do you sell zero turn lawnmowers?
Yes we have sold Gravely Zero Turn lawnmowers for over 35 years. We have a full line of mowers in stock including: Gravely ZTX, ZTXL, ZTHD, 100's, 300's, 500's and 600's in stock. You are welcome to demo the unit at our facility to make sure the unit is the best fit for your needs.
6. How do I determine the best mower for my yard?
Take into consideration the terrain of the yard. How many acres you will be mowing and which deck size will meet your needs. Each Gravely model has a variety of deck sizes to choose from.
7. How many blades are on Gravely zero turn lawnmowers?
There are three blades on all Gravely zero turns lawnmowers.
